About us

The 2019 cruise is about to begin, it is a blog about a three boats cruising to somewhere in France, I say somewhere because as any sailor knows the problems you can encounter whilst sailing around the coast can alter your plans dramatically, so all I will say is South Brittany is our aim. The boats are Lily a 36 ft Bavaria homeport Woolverstone with myself Martin onboard, my wife Suzanne will join us later ( one of those problems I mentioned earlier has already effected us ). Shades of Blue a 35 ft Dehler homeport Levington with Chas, Angela and guest crew Bill onboard. The third boat Escapade a monstrous beneteau oceanis 461 homeport somewhere in Holland, with Petra and Erik onboard. Start date sometime in June, end date I don’t think we have even talked about that. (we are pretty laid-back about things). Finally we have adopted the motto – Adventure before Dementia.
